Grand Crusade Hype — No-Wipe Server
Grand Crusade Hype is Melcosoft's server on the Grand Crusade chronicles, launched on April 2, 2021 and running without wipes ever since. On May 18, 2021 it was merged with High Five Bartz x1, a server that had been live since 2010 — so many characters here carry more than a decade of history. The rate system is dynamic: EXP/SP runs from x1 to x4 up to level 100, then a true x1 from 100 to 110. The economy is fully hardcore: adena, drop, spoil and quest rates are x1, raid bosses x2. This server is for players who want to settle in on modern chronicles for the long haul — no progress resets, no top-gear handouts, a strict anti-bot policy and regular events. Melcosoft is a small but stable project where servers live for years, and Hype is no exception.

No wipes since 2021

Premium account & .noexp
Premium gives PA points, offline leveling, fishing and more. Premium users can also freeze level gain with the .noexp on/off command.
Strict anti-bot, no window limits
Bots are banned with no exceptions, while multiboxing is unrestricted — run as many clients as you need.
Comfort without breaking hardcore
Auto-loot, shift-click on monsters, offline trading via the .offline command and full Cyrillic support for nicknames, titles, clan and alliance names.
Endgame for small groups
Zaken, Freya, Frintezza, Kartia and other instanced zones open for parties of just 2 players — top content is reachable even with a small crew.
Traveler's Helper
An NPC grants support magic to characters up to level 94 — a comfortable start for any class.
Olympiad & events
Non-class Olympiad battles run on Fridays and Saturdays from 20:00 to 00:00 Moscow time, with monthly cycles and a 50-battle weekly cap. Regular events follow the event calendar.

Are there wipes on Hype?
No. The server has been running since April 2, 2021 without a single wipe, and on May 18, 2021 the High Five Bartz x1 server (live since 2010) was merged into it. Melcosoft occasionally opens separate seasonal servers, but the main Hype server is never reset.
How do I start playing?
Register a master account on the website, then download the game via the launcher — the main and recommended method. If the launcher is unavailable, there is a client mirror on Google Drive. After installing, create a character and enter the world.
Is the server pay-to-play?
No, it is free to play. Optionally there is a premium account (offline leveling, PA points, fishing) and an in-game shop with cosmetics, leveling items and supplies. RMT is allowed on the server.
Is there a buffer or a GM shop?
There is no classic GM shop with gear — items are obtained by players, and the x1 economy keeps them valuable. The buffer role is filled by the Traveler's Helper, an NPC that grants support magic to characters up to level 94.
